Understand tracking status and transport progress
Tracking lifecycle and delivery progress answer different questions.
Check the tracking status
Pending activation means tracking has not activated. Tracking active means the tracking is active, not that every driver or device is reporting. Completed, closed and cancelled are terminal states for the overview filter.
Read the stop progress
Open the tracking details and inspect Stops. Arrival, departure and broker-reported progress are different kinds of evidence. A broker-reported completed stop is not a GPS-confirmed arrival.
Review before ending tracking
Use End Tracking or Cancel Tracking only when appropriate and read the confirmation. Inspect the event log afterward to understand the recorded change.
