Understand estimated arrival (ETA)

Separate an arrival estimate from the scheduled tracking window.

Reviewed · 3 steps
  1. Find the intended stop

Review the remaining stops and their completion state in tracking details. ETA is calculated toward the next unfinished stop; do not assume it always means the final destination on a multi-stop load.

  2. Understand the estimate

The service estimates remaining travel from the available position using route duration, or a distance-based estimate when routing is unavailable. The displayed arrival is an estimate and may change when new positions or stop states arrive.

  3. Check freshness and context

Compare the last location time, source and stop status before relying on ETA. Planned tracking end only describes the scheduled tracking period, not the expected delivery time. Confirm critical appointments with dispatch.
